HÀ NỘI — Sustainable development is no longer measured solely by business performance, but increasingly by the quality of human resources – a core pillar in the Government’s new economic strategy.
Reflecting this shift, Saigon Beer – Alcohol – Beverage Corporation (SABECO) has marked a notable milestone by rising in the Top 100 Best Places to Work in Viet Nam 2025, reaffirming its long-term commitment to people-centred and inclusive workplace development.
The improved ranking underscores what the company sees as a consistent and deliberate strategy: placing employees and workplace culture at the heart of sustainable growth.
“Best Places to Work in Việt Nam” is an annual ranking organised by Anphabe, a leading consultancy specialising in employer branding and happy workplace solutions, under the patronage of the Việt Nam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI).
The 2025 rankings were compiled based on a large-scale survey involving more than 73,000 experienced professionals, alongside a rigorous evaluation of nearly 700 leading companies nationwide. Widely regarded as an independent and objective benchmark, the ranking reflects employer brand attractiveness, corporate culture and employee satisfaction through real workplace experiences.
SABECO’s steady rise in the 2025 rankings
This year marks the third consecutive time SABECO has been recognised in the Top 100 Best Places to Work in Việt Nam, with a clear improvement in its overall position. In the general ranking, the company climbed to 34th place, up six positions from 2024. Within the fast-moving consumer goods sector for large enterprises, SABECO also advanced to 14th place, up one position year on year.
According to the company, the results mirror sustained efforts to enhance employee experience and strengthen workforce engagement. SABECO has focused on building a safe, respectful and friendly working environment, one that encourages pride, belonging and long-term commitment among employees.
Internal initiatives, including training programmes and heritage-themed engagement activities, are designed to foster both professional development and a shared sense of identity, particularly as the company continues to build on its 150-year legacy.

Nguyễn Thị Thu Hà, Human Resources Director of SABECO, said the recognition was a meaningful validation of the company’s people-first approach.
“We are proud to once again be named among the Top 100 Best Places to Work in Viet Nam, especially ranking in the Top 14 in the FMCG sector for large enterprises,” she said. “At SABECO, the foundation of a good workplace starts with a safe, respectful and friendly environment, where every employee can feel proud to belong and have opportunities to grow.”
Beyond career development, the company has placed strong emphasis on comprehensive welfare policies and employees’ mental and social well-being, viewing these as essential components of sustainable performance.
On remuneration and employee care, Hà noted that SABECO continues to prioritise competitive salary and bonus policies, alongside a broad range of practical welfare initiatives aimed at supporting employees’ livelihoods across the entire system.
“This recognition is a concrete and meaningful acknowledgement of our persistent efforts,” she said. “It also serves as motivation for us to further strengthen our corporate culture and continue creating the best possible working environment for our people in the years ahead.”

Team-building events and internal engagement programmes, such as the company’s “Heritage Night”, are regularly organised to reinforce solidarity and teamwork, contributing to a workplace culture that values both performance and human connection.
Recent Government policies, including resolutions on developing a flexible, sustainable and integrated labour market, have placed growing expectations on businesses. Companies are no longer tasked solely with job creation, but also with providing quality working environments, social security and clear pathways for career advancement.
SABECO’s continued presence in the national rankings not only strengthens its position in the labour market, but also reflects its alignment with Government priorities on improving labour productivity through skills development and maintaining high standards of human resource governance.
As Việt Nam accelerates its transition towards a more sustainable and innovation-driven economy, SABECO’s experience highlights how investment in people and workplace quality can serve as a durable foundation for long-term business success. — VNS
