HÀ NỘI — Midfielder Nguyễn Quang Hải of Hà Nội Police was named the Best Player of the V.League 1 – 2025/2026 season at the V.League Awards ceremony held in Hà Nội on Monday.

Quang Hải made a total of 34 appearances in all competitions, scoring five goals and delivering a number of key assists. His ability to control the tempo of the game, combined with his experience and influence in decisive moments, helped him stand out among strong contenders to claim the league’s most prestigious individual honour.

The award capped a highly successful season for the captain of Hà Nội Police, who led his team to the national title. The club enjoyed a dominant campaign, securing the V.League 1 championship while also making strong impressions in regional and continental competitions, including the ASEAN Club Championship and AFC Champions League Two.

Hà Nội Police’s dominance was also reflected in other major awards. Young forward Nguyễn Đình Bắc was voted Best Young Player after an impressive turnaround in the second half of the season, scoring 10 goals and playing a key role in the title-winning campaign.

On the attacking front, foreign striker Alan Grafite claimed the Top Scorer title with 16 goals, reaffirming his importance to the team. Meanwhile, defender Đoàn Văn Hậu won the Goal of the Season award for his long-range strike against Thanh Hóa, marking a notable milestone in his return from a long-term injury.

Hà Nội Police also contributed five players to the Team of the Season, including goalkeeper Nguyễn Filip, defender Cao Pendant Quang Vinh, midfielder Quang Hải, and forwards Alan Grafite and Nguyễn Đình Bắc. Head coach Mano Polking was named the team’s coach.

Other notable names in the best XI included Nguyễn Hoàng Đức of Ninh Bình, Xuân Mạnh, Hoàng Hên of Hà Nội FC, Lucao Vinicius and Kyle Nino Colonna of Thể Công Viettel alongside Nhật Minh of Hải Phòng.

In the National First Division, Trường Tươi Đồng Nai secured the title and promotion to V.League 1, with midfielder Trần Minh Vương named Best Player.
