HÀ NỘI — Saigon Beer - Alcohol - Beverage Corporation (SABECO, SAB - HOSE) has unveiled its agenda for the upcoming 2024 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders, set for April 25.
In its proposal, Sabeco aims for a robust 2024, projecting a net revenue of VNĐ34.3 trillion - a 12.9 per cen - increase from 2023 - and an after-tax profit of VNĐ4.58 trillion, reflecting a 7.6 per cent rise. The company plans to maintain a dividend payout ratio of 35 per cent.
For the profit distribution plan from 2023, SABECO will allocate VNĐ4.48 trillion for dividends to shareholders, corresponding to the same payout ratio of 35 per cent.
Earlier this year, SABECO made an interim dividend payment of 15 per cent. The upcoming meeting will also seek approval for a second dividend payment of 20 per cent in cash. The record date for eligible shareholders is set for July 8, 2024, with an expected payment date of July 31, 2024.
Additionally, in 2023, Sabeco successfully increased its charter capital by issuing over 641 million shares to existing shareholders at a 1:1 ratio.
Regarding remuneration, Sabeco anticipates a total of VNĐ8.2 trillion for its Board of Directors, Audit Committee, and other committees in 2024, up from VNĐ6 trillion in 2023.
As of April 3, SAB shares closed slightly down by 0.71 per cent at VNĐ56,000 per share, with a trading volume of 1.44 million units. — VNS
