Meanwhile, Asia's Leading Theme Park 2023 Sun World Ba Na Hills, is considered an attractive fairy world on the peak of Chua Mountain, taking tourists into a fairy tale world with beautiful ancient castles, vibrant street festivals and extremely impressive works such as: Golden Bridge - The world's leading iconic tourism bridge honoured by WTA for three consecutive years, Helios Waterfall, Time Gate, Lunar Castle, Eclipse Square, etc.

Capella Hanoi - Asia's Leading Luxury Boutique Hotel 2023, designed by architect Bill Bensley, is the Capella brand's first facility in Vietnam. The hotel recreates a luxurious inn for famous artists and composers during the golden age of Opera music in the 1920s. Although only opened in 2021, Capella Hanoi has continuously been honoured with many international awards. Up to now, this is also the only hotel in Vietnam that currently houses three Michelin-recognised restaurants.

Sharing about this joy, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sun Group, said: "We are extremely proud that the World Travel Awards always gives trust and confidence to Sun Group. The WTA awards are a source of encouragement for Sun Group to overcome difficulties and challenges at the current time of global economic fluctuations, as well as a great pressure to remind us to strive make more efforts to improve service quality, and provide better experiences to customers, thereby enhancing the competitiveness and position of Vietnamese tourism on the world tourism map."

Evaluating Sun Group, Graham Cooke, Chairman of WTA, said: "It is clear that the world has created a very competitive environment for the hospitality industry. We have multiple regional awards on six continents, recognized in all industry categories.

"Sun Group has done well in the hospitality industry. Their services and products are of very high quality, and they provide top quality training. Sun Group's hotel products are truly the best in the world. And I think, by owning great locations like InterContinental Danang and maintaining top quality service, Sun Group is truly bringing the best values to the global hospitality industry."

Returning to Vietnam from Ukraine in 2007, Sun Group has spent more than 16 years beautifying the lands, by developing high-quality, classy, and unique resort and entertainment projects across destinations from Sa Pa (Lao Cai), Ha Long (Quang Ninh), Da Nang, Phu Quoc to Tay Ninh, etc.

2023 is considered an extremely difficult year for the tourism enterprise community in general and Sun Group in particular, when facing "dual" challenges: the severe impacts after the COVID-19 pandemic and period of economic fluctuation and recession.

Sun Group, on the other hand, proactively and flexibly improved and maintained the quality of its products and services in order to overcome those difficulties and challenges. A series of new projects and products are still being launched, most recently the 3D Mapping light show at Sun World Ba Na Hills (Da Nang), the Kiss The Stars multimedia technology show in Phu Quoc, etc.

In addition, Sun Group also actively collaborates with localities to organise large-scale festival events and shows, warming up the tourism market in the post-pandemic period, most notably the Group's efforts to sponsor and organise the Danang International Fireworks Festival 2023. The recovery of the local tourism industry in the past two years, from Sa Pa (Lao Cai), Da Nang, to Quang Ninh, Tay Ninh, and elsewhere, is said to have had a significant contribution and effort from this group.
