HẬU GIANG — Herbalife Nutrition Foundation has announced its fifth year-long partnership with the Hướng Dương Orphanage in the Mekong Delta province of Hậu Giang under its Casa Herbalife programme.

It will provide over VNĐ456 million (US$19,544) to the privately run orphanage to help children there get good nutrition from safe and hygienic food.

Speaking at the ceremony on October 27 Phạm Tường Huy, general manager and director of Herbalife Vietnam, said: “Today we are so proud to return to announce our renewed partnership with Hướng Dương Orphanage to help ensure healthier lives for the children in need at this home.

“Whenever we visit Hướng Dương, we are very happy to see many positive changes in these children. They are healthier, happier and more confident about sharing their good stories with us.”

Lê Thị Tỵ, the director of the orphanage, said: “The Casa Herbalife programme has become a sweet home where all our children have been nurtured. Over the past five years nutritious meals and great care from HNF have helped our children continuously develop and grow well day by day.

“We would like to express our gratitude to our friends from HNF for your kind hearts and great contributions. Your long-term partnership will not only help ensure good nutrition and happy lives for our needy children today, but also help enable our community to welcome more good citizens in the future.”

The programme provides funding and volunteer assistance to help provide healthy and nutritious meals to children in need by partnering with existing charities serving children.

HNF has granted over VNĐ6.1 billion to these charities since it launched the programme in 2011. — VNS
