HCM CITY — Mobile operator Vietnamobile has announced a tie-up with Xiaomi and the two are offering free data and discounts on products.

Under the promotion, until the end of July subscribers to Vietnamobile’s Siêu Thánh SIM plan will get up to 20 per cent off on some Xiaomi IoT products at Mi Stores and a chance to win lucky draw prizes.

The two companies plan to launch road shows at industrial zones and universities.

Elizabete Fong, general director of Vietnamobile, said: “After the successful launch and positive consumer feedback for the ‘Siêu Thánh SIM’, Vietnamobile realised that creating an open eco-system is an important part of enhancing customers’ digital experience.

“This time around, Vietnamobile is bringing to our customer more than just free data, calls and texts but also an eco-system of Xiaomi products.”
