HCM CITY — VISSAN Joint Stock Company on Tuesday opened a store on Bùi Hữu Nghĩa Street in HCM City’s Bình Thạnh District, selling fresh and processed foods and other products.
It sells items such as pork cuts meant for small traders at traditional markets, restaurants, hotels, schools and companies at wholesale prices from midnight to 6am every day. Regular retailing is from 6am to 9pm.
The company sells VietGap-quality and traceable pork as part of HCM City’s technology-based programme to control and trace the origin of pork.
The company said pigs are bred at certified breeding farms and slaughtered at the company’s modern slaughterhouses under strict supervision by an independent veterinary agency.
Its stores are equipped with coolers to preserve meat quality while all workers at fresh meat stalls are equipped with specialised tools and knowledge about hygiene and food safety.
To mark the opening the store is offering attractive promotions until December 5. Information about the promotion is available on its website at www.vissan.com.vn. — VNS
