HÀ NỘI HCM City topped the medals table at the National Top Team Table Tennis Championship that concluded in the southern province of Tiền Giang on Saturday.
The team bagged three golds and three bronzes to take the crown. Hải Dương were runners-up with two golds, one silver and two bronzes, while T&T Club came third with one gold, four silver and three bronze medals.
This year’s event drew 150 players and coaches from across the country including Hà Nội, Đà Nẵng, Tây Ninh, Vĩnh Long, and the Military and Police team.
Participants competed in the women’s and men’s singles, doubles and mixed doubles.
The event was a warm-up for members of the national team for the upcoming Southeast Asian Games to be held in the Philippines later this year. VNS
