QUẢNG NINH — The FLC Việt Nam Masters golf tournament is scheduled to tee off at FLC Hạ Long Golf Club in the northern province of Quảng Ninh on July 29.

The event will attract the participation of more than 100 golfers with prizes totalling VNĐ1.1 billion (US$47,800).

Participants will compete through four rounds of 18 holes.

For the first time at the FLC Việt Nam Masters, professional female golfers have the opportunity to compete in a group of 20 players.

“The event aims to develop professional golf. The event will be more competitive as it draws foreign professional golfers living and working in Việt Nam,” Phạm Anh Tuấn, head of the event’s organising board, said. — VNS
