HÀ NỘI — Hà Nội FC and Becamex Bình Dương both won group stage matches in the AFC Cup on Wednesday.

V.League 1 champions Hà Nội thrashed Cambodian side Naga World 5-1 in Group F at the National Olympics Stadium in Phnom Penh.

Ganiyu Oseni notched a brace while Hoàng Vũ Samson, Văn Kiên and Pape Omar scored one each for the visiting side.

The former Nigerian youth international Oseni has now found the back of the net eight times in this campaign, just one less than top scorer Bienvenido Maranon from Ceres Negros of the Philippines.

In Group G, Bình Dương defeated Persija Jakarta of Indonesia 3-1.

Nguyễn Anh Đức opened the scoring at the 38th minute, while Tô Văn Vũ and Wander Luiz netted in the second half.

After the fifth match day, both Hà Nội and Bình Dương are second in their groups.

In the last match on May 15, Hà Nội will hosts group leader Tampines Rovers and Bình Dương will travel to the Philippines to play Ceres Negros, who also top their group. — VNS
