HÀ NỘI — Lê Nguyệt Minh won the third stage of the HCM City Television Cycling Cup on Monday.

With the best sprint, Minh of MM Mega Market HCM City triumphed in the 162km race from Quảng Bình to Huế. Minh also won the green jersey award as the best sprinter.

Huỳnh Thanh Tùng of Military Zone 7 defended his yellow jersey for the best overall time after three stages.

The event featured 13 teams, competing over 17 stages with a total length of 2,002 km.

The event began from HCM City Square in Nghệ An Province on April 12 and then travelled through many central and southern provinces to HCM City on April 30 to mark the 43rd anniversary of Southern Việt Nam’s liberation and the Reunification Day (April 30, 1975-2018).
