Breaking an Olympic record will net the winner an additional VNĐ140 million ($6,000). Olympic silver and bronze medalists will receive VNĐ220 million ($9,500) and VNĐ140 million ($6,000), respectively.
The Asian Games gold medal will win an athlete VNĐ140 million ($6,000), while the runners-up will get VNĐ85 million ($3,700) and VNĐ55 million ($2,400), for second and third place.
Winners in the Southeast Asian Games will receive VNĐ45 million ($1,950). The silver and bronze medalists will get VNĐ25 million ($1,080) and VNĐ20 million ($870), respectively.
World championship winners in key sports will be awarded VNĐ245 million ($10,600).
