HÀ NỘI — Five young talented Vietnamese footballers had the chance to train in Barcelona with one of the leading professional football clubs in the world.

They are Cao Thiên Lộc, Đoàn Văn Lượng, Nguyễn Ngọc Chung, Nguyễn Hồng Thịnh and Lê Văn Hoàn. They were selected from the national football event for students.

During their three-day football coaching camp run by FC Barcelona, which concluded on Monday, Vietnamese players learnt five principal values: humility, effort, ambition, respect and teamwork.

They had also the chance to meet young talents of many countries in the world.

The event was part of a co-operation programme between Nestle Milo and FC Barcelona established in 2016. It aims to nourish kids’ ambitions through their participation in sports, and encourage well-rounded personalities. — VNS
