HÀ NỘI — Spanish pro cyclist Edgar Nieto of Ynghua Đồng Nai won the sixth stage of the 27th National Cycling Open – Gạo Hạt Ngọc Trời An Giang Cup on Thursday.

Nieto triumphed in the 31.5km race of 21 laps around Hòa Bình avenue of Cần Thơ City with a time of 41.21, followed by Nguyễn Thành Tâm, Mai Nguyễn Hưng, Nguyễn Trường Tài, Lê Nguyệt Minh of VUS Hồ Chí Minh City and Sarda Perz Javier of Tập Đoàn Lộc Trời.

Trịnh Đức Tâm from Tập Đoàn Lộc Trời retained the yellow jersey with the best overall time of 13:56.33, followed by Hưng, who held the green jersey with 106 points, and Tài.

In the team rankings, VUS HCM City continued to lead with the best overall time of 41:51.20, followed by Tập đoàn Lộc Trời and Domesco Đồng Tháp.
