HÀ NỘI — Vietnamese Nguyễn Văn Phương championed the PTT-ITF Junior Grade 4 tennis tournament in Thailand yesterday.
No 8 seed Phương came from behind to beat Yuttana Charoenphone of the hosts 1-6, 2-6, 7-5 in the boys’ singles event.
It is the first Grade 4 title for the 16-year-old player after he won two Grade 5 events earlier this year.
He will enter top 300 world junior list which will be announced today. — VNS
