Việt Nam win four golds at world bodybuilding event

Việt Nam have won four golds, two silvers and two bronzes at the ongoing World Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Championships in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.

HÀ NỘI — Việt Nam have won four golds, two silvers and two bronzes at the World Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Championships in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.

The gold medals were won by Ðinh Thị Kim Loan in the women’s 55kg, Trần Thị Cẩm Tú in the women’s fitness at 1.60cm, Nguyễn Thị Phương Thảo in the women’s fitness at 1.65cm, and Phạm Văn Mách in the men’s 55kg bodybuilding.

Nguyễn Bích Trâm brought home a silver medal in the women’s over 55kg and the another silver medal went to Khanh Khương in the men’s 55kg bodybuilding.

Hoàng Duy Phúc and Trần Thị Thùy Linh won bronze medals in the men’s 65kg and women’s 55kg, respectively.

The tournament, which ends today, is held for the first time in Mongolia. The ninth edition of the event has lured about 500 athletes from more than 60 countries in 39 categories. — VNS
