HÀ NỘI — Việt Nam finished second at the Pre-SEA Games Muay Thai Championship which wrapped up in Malaysia on Sunday.
Vietnamese fighters did not win any golds but all four brought home medals with two silvers and two bronzes.
Thailand, the home of the martial art, triumphed with all five golds. Hosts Malaysia pocketed one silver and four bronze medals.
Muay Thai is included in the 29th SEA Games in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from August 19-31.Ten Southeast Asian countries have submitted teams. — VNS
