HÀ NỘI — The National V. League 2 tournament, the First Division football league, will kick-off on Saturday with the participation of seven teams.
In the first round, Bình Phước will host Đắk Lắk; Huế will entertain Nam Định and Viettel will visit Đồng Tháp. Tây Ninh start their journey next week.
They will compete in a two-leg competition. The first leg is from February 11 to March 18. The second is from April 1 to July 22.
There will have only one team with the best result promoted to the V. League 1 next season. Meanwhile, the bottom-ranked team will take part in a play-off match against a team which ranks fourth in the Second Division tournament. The winner of this match will grab a berth at First Division next year. — VNS
