Việt Nam beat Pocheon FC in friendly match

Việt Nam’s national football team beat Pocheon FC, defending champions of the K3 League, 5-2 in their third friendly match in South Korea yesterday.

HÀ NỘI — Việt Nam’s national football team beat Pocheon FC, defending champions of the K3 League, 5-2 in their third friendly match in South Korea yesterday.

Nguyễn Văn Quyết, Đinh Thanh Trung and Đặng Quang Huy each scored a goal and Lê Công Vinh scored two goals for the Vietnamese side.

Earlier this week, Việt Nam beat FC Seoul 3-0 and tied with the South Korean Jeonju University team 1-1.

Việt Nam are training in South Korea for two weeks to prepare for the upcoming ASEAN Football Federation Cup.

The team will return home on October 30 and will have another friendly match with Indonesia on November 8 at Mỹ Đình National Stadium. — VNS
