Mitchell Robins wins Challenge VN Triathlon

Mitchell Robins from Australia won the men’s category while Jessica Fleming of Sweden took the women’s event at the Challenge Việt Nam Triathalon in Nha Trang city, Khánh Hòa province, on Sunday.

HÀ NỘI — Mitchell Robins from Australia won the men’s category while Jessica Fleming of Sweden took the women’s event at the Challenge Việt Nam Triathalon in Nha Trang city, Khánh Hòa province, on Sunday.

After swimming 1.9km, cycling 90kms and running 21kms, Robins came in first place, followed by Levi Maxwell and Carlos Forero of Australia. 

On the women’s side, Fleming was followed by Julia Brant of New Zealand in second place and Australian Michelle Duffield took third place. 

Challenge Việt Nam was held for the first time in Nha Trang city and attracted 215 athletes from over 30 countries and territories. The competition is a part of the international sports event Challenge Family launched in Germany in 2002 and held in 40 countries so far. — VNS
