HÀ NỘI — Bùi Yến Ly of Việt Nam has entered the semi-finals of the International Federation of Muaythai Amateur World Championship in Sweden.
Ly defeated Australian Kristain Armstrong 3-0 in the quarter-final match of the women’s 51kg class on May 23.
Earlier, three other Vietnamese also booked their berths in the last-four round in their respective categories.
They are Nguyễn Trần Duy Nhất in the men’s 60kg, Võ Văn Đài in the men’s 63.5kg and Lê Hoàng Đức in the men’s 48kg pools.
All the athletes will definitely bring at least bronze medals home.
In the other competition today, Nguyễn Thị Thanh Trúc will compete against Galina Popova of Russia in the women’s 48kg class. — VNS
