HCM CITY — A tennis tournament of the Vietnam Construction Materials and Interior Decoration Industry, the largest amateur event under the Việt Nam Tennis Federation, is organised in HCM City this weekend.

The tournament aims to enhance cooperation and share experiences, in business as well as in sport, among athletes who work in the construction materials and furniture industry, and other businesses and industries, under the motto: Health, Connection, Success and Sustainability.

The tournament lures the participation of hundreds of players from more than 30 cities and provinces nationwide.

They will compete in six categories for men and women.

Along with competitive matches, charity activities will be organised. The charity fund Journey of Love will support families facing difficulty in HCM City. All money raised through the event will be handed over to needy people and will be reported at the award ceremony night on March 10. VNS
