Thị Thảo is the “genius” in the middle of the pitch. She is great at building the play, keeping control of the ball, and breaking defences. Her long-distance finishes are also her special weapon. The former national futsal team member scored a goal in Việt Nam’s 2-0 win over Thailand during the Asian Cup 2022.

Yến has proven herself to be a goal-scoring machine in local tournaments. That was the case in the 2022 Asian Cup qualifications where she scored a total of eight goals. In the national team, Yến and her captain Huỳnh Như make for the best duo as forwards in the Southeast Asia region.
