Over the years, Vietnamese football has continuously obtained impressive achievements both regionally and internationally.

According to FIFA in 2022, Vietnam National Men's team ranked 96th out of 211 teams on the Men's Football Rankings while the Women's team ranked 34th out of 187 teams on the Women's Football Rankings, both are No.1 in Southeast Asia.

The national U23 team has also won multiple regional tournaments, further confirming the supreme level this young generation of players are working on.

The hope goes on this year, projected to be an exciting year of Vietnamese football with many global, continental, and regional-scale tournaments about to take place.

TCP Vietnam - Red Bull empowers national football to reach new heights

Looking back on the journey, Mr. Duong Nghiep Khoi, General Secretary of Vietnam Football Federation, expressed his appreciation and gratitude to the players, the coaches, the Government, millions of football fans, and business partners who have empowered and accompanied VFF and Vietnam National Teams to pursue the championship dream.

The sponsorship will serve as the new source of energy that helps elevate Vietnamese football to the next level", Mr. Khoi shared as he welcomed TCP Vietnam – Red Bull to be the next leading partner – sponsor of Vietnamese national teams.

The announcement ceremony of TCP Vietnam as the leading sponsor of Vietnamese national teams was attended by leaders of both parties, coach Mai Duc Chung and many football players of the national team.

In response to the appreciation from VFF, at the announcement ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Huan, Country Director of TCP Vietnam, shared: "In line with TCP's “Energizing a better world for all" purpose, TCP Vietnam and Red Bull have always had major interest in national football. In Việt Nam, football is not just a sport but also a passion and a desire for glory that unite the national spirit. TCP Vietnam and Red Bull are always ready to support the teams physically and spiritually, awaken their internal strength, and accompany them to confidently overcome challenges to bring home victories.”

Before becoming the top star sponsor of Vietnam National Football Teams, TCP Vietnam - Red Bull carried out several meaningful activities to help nurture Vietnamese football talent, among which the “Football Talent Recruitment” program held in the summer of 2022 was the most prominent program. The program attracted nearly 11,000 young football talent from 6 provinces from north to south, from which nine outstanding football players were selected for professional training.

The “Football Talent Recruitment” program by TCP Vietnam discovered exquisite "seeds" to receive professional training for the future of Vietnamese football.

Following that success, at the end of 2022, TCP Vietnam has also partnered with the Vietnam Student Cup 2023, organized by the Vietnam National Union of Students (VNUS) under the assignment of the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, Thanh Nien Newspaper, and the Vietnam Football Federation to stimulate the love for football among the youth and nurture Vietnamese football talent.

TCP Vietnam - Red Bull envisions that the sponsorship for Vietnam National Football Teams will further fuel the development of Vietnamese football. Vietnamese football will continue to pursue higher goals and strive to reach the level of the continent's top teams.
