HÀ NỘI– The Việt Nam Golf Association (VGA) has announced a tentative tournament schedule for 2023 with seven quality tours and eight junior tours to be held in the country’s three regions.

Next year, seven VGA tours will be organised including Lexus Challenge, Classic, Việt Nam Matchplay Championship (VMC), National Championship, Việt Nam Open, Nam A Bank Masters and T99 VGA tours Championship (T99 Cup), an organiser from the Vietnam Golf Service Joint Stock Company (VGS) said at a press briefing in Hà Nội on Monday.
VGA Union Cup will be an event to start the Việt Nam Amateur Series 2023 with competition among single handicap golfers from the North and the South to be held at Heron Lake Golf Course & Resource on March 22-25 for the sixth time. It will be followed by tours of VN Series -VSC (April 27-28), VN Amateur Ladies Open (July 13-16) and VGA Junior-VJO (July 21-23), the organiser said.
Eight VGA Junior Tours will be held in the country’s northern, central and southern regions to create a play ground for young golfers to compete and develop.
VGA also plans to release a Vietnamese version of the new Golf Law 2023.
In 2022, VGA successfully organised six amateur VAS golf tours and five VGA tournaments. All the tours had been broadcast live on GolfNews, VTV Go, FPT Play, VieOn, and My TV. VNS
