City People’s Council approves policies on socio-economic development

The HCM City People’s Council on December 7 approved many policies related to solutions for cultural and socio-economic development, especially for provisions covered by National Assembly Resolution No 54 for “piloting a special mechanism and policy for the development of the city.”

 

 

Vingroup invests $4.5 million in gene decoding project

The VinTech technology development company’s Institute of Big Data announced on Thursday that it will start a US$4.5 million project to build Vietnamese genome data next year. The project, “Building the Database of Genetic Variations of the Vietnamese,” will decode the genomes of 1,000 people to generate mass data for local and foreign researchers.
