The total number of COVID-19 infections recorded in Việt Nam, since the first case was recorded last year, was 90,939 today with the country reporting a further 7,968 new cases.

From Saturday morning, the first day Hà Nội applied stricter social distancing measures under Directive 16, the inspection force have co-ordinated with the city’s functional forces to deploy solutions to prevent congestion at the gateways to the capital, Trần Hưng Hà, Director of the No.1 Road Administration Department  (at the Directorate for Roads of Việt Nam) said.
