241 new cases of COVID-19 confirmed on Wednesday

HÀ NỘI — A further 241 new cases of COVID-19 were reported in Việt Nam on Wednesday raising the total number of patients to 7,813, said the Ministry of Health.

Of all the new cases, 12 cases are imported and were quarantined in Kiên Giang, An Giang and HCM City right after entering Việt Nam.

The remaining 229 cases are domestic. As many as 157 of them were in Bắc Giang Province, 31 in Bắc Ninh Province, 31 in HCM City, eight in Hà Nội, one in Đà Nẵng City and one in Hải Dương Province.

Thirteen out of 63 provinces and cities across the country have not seen any new cases over the past 14 days. — VNS
