Việt Nam confirms 56 new cases of COVID-19

Fifty six new cases of COVID-19 were detected by noon on Wednesday, including 52 domestic infections.

HÀ NỘI — Fifty six new cases of COVID-19 were detected by noon on Wednesday, including 52 domestic infections.

Of the domestic cases, six are related to the National Hospital for Tropical Diseases, 15 in Bắc Giang Province, 13 in Vĩnh Phúc Province, seven in Đà Nẵng, five in Bắc Ninh Province, one in Hà Nam Province, one in Thái Bình Province, one in Hưng Yên Province, case in Nam Định Province, one in Lạng Sơn Province and one in Hà Nội.

The new cases in Bắc Giang Province related to the outbreak of SJ Tech Company while cases in Vĩnh Phúc Province can be sourced to the Sunny Bar.

The new case in Hà Nội was the direct contact of patient 3093.

Three imported cases were immediately quarantined on arrival in Đà Nẵng City and Bà Rịa - Vũng Tàu Province.

Việt Nam has confirmed a total of 3,593 cases of COVID-19 so far, including 2,150 domestic cases.

Data from the Ministry of Health showed that there were a total of 580 new cases of COVID-19 since April 27. — VNS
