LÂM ĐỒNG -- A serious accident between trucks and passenger cars occurred yesterday on the Bảo Lộc Overpass in the Central Highlands province of Lâm Đồng at 7pm on National Road 20 in Đạ Huoai District.

A container truck travelling from Đà Lạt to HCM City collided with a 16-seat passenger car travelling in the opposite direction.

The collision caused the passenger car to hit a pickup truck and a seven-seat car.

The truck then hit two seven-seat cars, a 24-seat coach, and a motorcycle before crashing into a mountain cliff.

Some people in the 16-seat car were injured and taken to hospital, but there were no casualties, local authorities reported.

A part of Bảo Lộc Overpass was closed for an hour.

The Traffic Police Division of the Lâm Đồng Province’s Police Department has launched an investigation into the accident.

On January 25 on the Bảo Lộc Overpass, an accident caused one death and three people seriously injured when a seven-seat car crashed into a mountain cliff. - VNS
