Việt Nam reports one more imported case on Tuesday evening

One more imported case of COVID-19 was reported on Tuesday evening, bringing the total number of patients in the country to 1,141, according to the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control.

HÀ NỘI — One more imported case of COVID-19 was reported on Tuesday evening, bringing the total number of patients in the country to 1,141, according to the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control.

The Indian patient, 29, is the wife of patient 1,125, an Indian expert. The couple arrived in Việt Nam from India via Tân Sơn Nhất International Airport in HCM City on October 6, aboard flight 6E9471.

She was put under quarantine in HCM City upon arrival and tested positive for the virus on Monday.
