Deputy Director of the central city’s information and communications Phạm Ngọc Thạch said the award, which was presented in Bangkok on Wednesday, resulted from efforts by the city in building Đà Nẵng as a ‘smart’ urban area.
Thạch said the smart city award focused on indexes of happiness, smart infrastructure, online public service, economic growth, education and development research.
