HCM CITY – An exhibition showcasing documentary photos on the Việt Nam Fatherland Front (VFF) of HCM City opened yesterday at the Nguyễn Huệ Pedestrian Street in District 1 yesterday.
The exhibition displays 100 photos highlighting the committee’s important events in the last five years.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Tô Thị Bích Châu, chairwoman of the VFF of HCM City, said: “The exhibition introduces the activities and achievements of VFF of HCM City and its members in the last five years.”
“It also highlights the contributions of the people in the cause of developing the city,” she added.
On display are photos of activities promoting the Communist Party’s policies and the Government’s laws to people at all levels.
The photos also feature HCM City’s achievements during its development and integration process.
These achievements show the efforts of the VFF of HCM City and its members in building national solidarity, maintaining political stability, improving people’s living standards, and making HCM City a civilised, modern and sustainable city.
