HÀ NỘI — Prime Minister Nguyễn Xuân Phúc received representatives of the Việt Nam Association for Women Entrepreneurs in Hà Nội on Saturday.
At the meeting ahead of International Women’s Day (March 8), participants expressed their satisfaction with the country’s economic development in recent years, noting that under the Government’s leadership, Việt Nam’s stature has been enhance abroad.
Cutting half of business-related administrative procedures has facilitated the development of enterprises, many of which run by women have spread to the region and the world, they said.
PM Phúc spoke highly of the contributions to national development by women, including entrepreneurs.
Aside from fulfilling their role in their families, they have also achieved big success in their careers and done much for society, he said, attributing those achievements to their boldness and efforts to weather all difficulties.
The Government leader wished women entrepreneurs health, happiness, activeness and creativeness to further contribute to national development. — VNS
