People buy products at the “Sunflower Festival 2018” in HCM City’s Đầm Sen Park today in support of child cancer patients. The festival is part of the “Thúy’s Dream” programme set up by Tuổi trẻ (Youth) newspaper ten years ago. So far more than VNĐ34 billion has been raised to help child cancer patients across the country. This year’s event received support from nearly 10,000 people in HCM City and more than 314,000 others also joined the programme by writing articles and sharing images of sunflower on the social media, thus contributing more than VNĐ150 million (US$6,500) to the fund for cancer patients and supporting VNĐ300 million via a walking event. — VNA/VNS Photo Xuân Dự
