Universities develop co-operative partnership

HÀ NỘI — Four big universities in Hà Nội on Tuesday committed to work together on training, research and development.

The University of Transport and Communications, Hà Nội University of Mining and Geology, Thuyloi University and the National University of Civil Engineering signed a 5-year cooperation agreement in which they committed to assist each other to promote their strengths.

Part of the plan is to improve the quality of lecturers and exchange staff to learn from each other.

Student exchange programmes and mutual recognition are also included in the agreement. Students of the four universities will be allowed to use classes, labs and liberaries at all the universities.

The universities will share their research papers, training programmes and reference materials to curb plagiarism as well as to improve the quality of their publications on training and scientific studies. — VNS
