Free healthcare programme held for Int’l Children’s Day

Nearly 10,000 children of kindergarten and primary school age are expected to take part in free healthcare services as part of International Children’s Day on June 1.

HCM CITY — Nearly 10,000 children of kindergarten and primary school age are expected to take part in free healthcare services as part of International Children’s Day on June 1.

The programme will be organised at Đầm Sen Cultural Park in District 11 on May 27 and 28.

Doctors from local hospitals and centres of nutrition, reproductive and preventive health will provide free examinations and medicine to children.

Children will enjoy games and entertainment shows, and receive gifts.

They will also be entitled to a 50 per cent discount on tickets to play games at the park.

Children with disabilities, those living with HIV, and children staying at shelters have been invited to participate in the programme. — VNS
