HÀ NỘI - A decomposing body of a young female was found by residents on October 20 in an apartment in Alley No.39 of Đình Thôn Street in Nam Từ Liêm District, Hà Nội.

It is suspected that the victim had passed away several days earlier given that the body was already in an advanced state of decomposition.

Upon discovery, authorities quickly arrived at the scene, cordoning off the area and conducting an investigation to determine the cause of death.

Curious onlookers gathered around the scene, but the police instructed the crowd to disperse.

Prior to the discovery, several residents of the building had noticed a foul smell. The victim, a young woman originally from Nam Định Province, had not been seen for several days. The building manager opened the apartment door and found the body.
