HÀ NỘI — The Hà Nội People's Committee issued a document to all related authorities, ordering a total inspection of all mini-apartments in the city.

The inspection will start from September 15 and end on October 30.

Inspectors will examine the implementation of laws in these mini-apartments as well as other housing facilities in Hà Nội.

The city's functional agencies will conduct a comprehensive inspection of compliance with land use, planning, investment, construction, electrical safety, fire safety, and emergency response regulations for all mini-apartments and businesses providing rental services within their jurisdiction. They will promptly identify and rigorously address any violations in accordance with the law.

The inspection and handling of violations are carried out by the city's authorities in a determined, comprehensive, transparent, and impartial manner, in strict adherence to the principles of upholding the rule of law, without exceptions.

Additionally, the city emphasises the role of public scrutiny and monitoring by the press and media regarding compliance with the law by business owners, household heads, and citizens.

Through these inspections, the city's functional agencies will firmly apply administrative sanctions, address consequences as prescribed within their jurisdiction and regulations, and transfer cases to relevant authorities for investigation and prosecution if there are signs of criminal law violations. — VNS
