Hà Nội suspends entertainment activities for four days in mourning of apartment fire victims

This is one of the city's action in mourning and sharing with the losses of the victims in the recent apartment fire, which costs the lives of 56 people.

HÀ NỘI — Chairman of Hà Nội People's Committee Trần Sỹ Thanh has ordered authorities across the city to suspend cultural, sporting and entertainment events from September 14 to September 17.

This is one of the city's actions as it mourns the victims of the recent apartment fire, which cost the lives of 56 people.

The city also ordered local authorities to hold a minute of silence in offices on Monday to mourn the victims.

Thanh has also shortened his trip abroad to return to Hà Nội and direct operations involving the aftermath of the fire. — VNS
