ĐÀ NẴNG — A man who ordered his dogs to attack two other men after a quarrel over land has been jailed for 10 years.
In May last year, Trần Đình Thảo, 47, was drinking with Đặng Văn Ngọc and Trương Anh Tâm in Đà Nẵng City when an argument broke out which quickly turned physical.
During the fight, Thảo was attacked with a shovel, so in retaliation, went home and returned with his two dogs, a pitbull and a German shepherd.
He set the dogs on Ngọc, and the pit bull bit him on the face, arms and legs. All men were later arrested and charged in connection with the fight.
On Tuesday, the People's Court of Đà Nẵng sentenced Thảo to 10 years in prison. Ngọc and Tâm were also jailed for nine years each. — VNS
