HCM CITY — The Journal of Asia Business and Economic Studies published by the University of Economics HCM City has been included in the list of Australian Business Deans Council.

It is Việt Nam’s first economics and business journal to be included, the university said in a press release.

The English version of the journal has been included in the list last month.

It marks another step forward for JABES’s collective and associates in particular for their constant investment and efforts to internationalise and improve its academic reputation in the community and world-wide and opening up opportunities for Australian and New Zealand scholars to publish their research findings in it.

The journal has four English issues a year and 12 Vietnamese issues.

Research articles submitted to both editions are peer-reviewed under an online process following international practices.

JABES was added to the ESCI list of the Web of Science in 2021 and the Scopus Index, Elsevier Publishing House (Netherlands)’s database of reliable scientific articles in 2022.

It is set to organise the 5th Asia Conference on Business and Economic Studies from August 16 to 18 this year. —VNS
