Hà Nội to pilot bicycle rental service in six inner districts

HÀ NỘI — The capital city will pilot bicycle rental services in six inner districts from January 20.

The rental service will take place within two weeks, after which it will officially go into operation.

Each customer will be given one hour of free rides when downloading the application for using bicycles.

According to the investor, Trí Nam Group Joint Stock Company, the first public bicycle station will be located at Number 12, Đào Tấn Street.

The cost per ride (30 minutes) is VNĐ5,000 (20 cents) for bicycles and VNĐ10,000 for electric bicycles.

The full-day price will be VNĐ60,000 (bicycle) and VNĐ120,000 (electric bicycle).

There will be 1,000 bicycles, of which half are electric bicycles at 94 stations in Ba Đình, Tây Hồ, Đống Đa, Hoàn Kiếm, Thanh Xuân and Hai Bà Trưng districts, with a total investment of more than VNĐ30 billion. — VNS
