HCM CITY — NGO VinaCapital Foundation (VCF) has partnered with VITA Clinic to financially and psychologically support thousands of child patients, COVID-19 orphans and their families.

VITA Clinic will provide sponsorship worth US$50,000 to VCF’s four major programmes, Heartbeat Vietnam, Grassroots Assistance, Survive to Thrive, and Care to Rise, from now until August 2023.

The money will help provide life-saving surgeries to 10 poor children with congenital heart defects through Heartbeat Vietnam and give them the opportunity to grow up normally.

Some essential neo-natal medical equipment will be donated to a remote rural hospital through the Survive to Thrive programme.

The Care to Rise programme will provide 200 family grants and recreational activities to benefit orphans and disadvantaged children affected by COVID-19 in HCM City to encourage them to stay in school and financially support their families. — VNS
