Gas treatment pipeline explosion injures 34 in Bắc Ninh

BẮC NINH — A total of 34 workers of Seojin Auto Company in northern Bắc Ninh Province were injured after an explosion on Tuesday.

The explosion at around 9am at the gas treatment pipeline was on the company's third floor.

The injured workers were taken to hospital for treatment. Their health has been stabilised.

Immediately after the incident, Chairwoman of the provincial People’s Committee Nguyễn Hương Giang arrived to direct the workers' emergency treatment and oversee the consequences.

She has asked local police to promptly investigate. —VNS
