HCM CITY — Students from Hoa Sen University in HCM City won the second prize in Taiwan’s MICE Destination Marketing Contest in the Virtual Exhibition and Booth Design and English Tour Guide categories.
Their winning entry was five booths they created on the iStaging Virtual Exhibition platform to market Hà Nội’s unique beauty, incredible peace and culture.
The contest provides an opportunity for young adults across the world to practise and share innovative ideas about the MICE (meetings, incentives, conferencing, and exhibitions) industry.
It also encourages students to integrate MICE marketing concepts with local resources.
Organised by Taiwan’s Bureau of Foreign Trade and the Taiwan External Trade Development Council, the contest from November 1 to 5 attracted students studying courses in MICE tourism from Taiwan, Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand. — VNS
