The Ministry of Justice has unveiled a draft law proposing easier access to Vietnamese citizenship for those with family ties to Vietnamese citizens, as well as for foreign investors, scientists and experts.

President of the Government of Spain, H.E. Mr. Pedro Sánchez, paid an official visit to Việt Nam at the invitation of Prime Minister Phạm Minh Chính from April 8–10, 2025. The two sides on Thursday issued a Joint Statement outlining the outcomes of the visit.
