Chairwoman of the Việt Nam’s National Assembly Nguyễn Thị Kim Ngân met with Lao Prime Minister Thongloun Sisoulith on Sunday who is in Việt Nam’s for the 43rd meeting of the Việt Nam-Lao Inter-Governmental Committee.

The 43rd session of the Việt Nam-Laos inter-governmental committee on Sunday in Hà Nội yielded unexpected important results, contributing to deepening relations between the two countries, said Prime Minister Nguyễn Xuân Phúc.

 The second national congress of Vietnamese ethnic minority groups opened in Hà Nội yesterday, with the participation of nearly 1,600 delegates.
