HÀ NỘI — Head of the Party Central Committee’s Mass Mobilisation Commission Trương Thị Mai has assured President of the Communist Party of Bangladesh (CPB) Mujahidul Islam Selim that the Party, Government and people of Việt Nam treasures ties with the CPB.
During a reception in Hà Nội on Monday, Mai said the Communist Party of Việt Nam (CPV) wishes to reinforce friendship between the two parties, contributing to strengthening ties between Việt Nam and Bangladesh for the benefit of the two peoples, and for peace, stability, co-operation and development.
Selim hailed Việt Nam’s achievements during the renovation process led by the CPV.
He expressed his wish to strengthen ties with the CPV, especially in sharing information and experience in Party building.
The guest also held talks with head of the Party Central Committee’s Commission for External Relations Hoàng Bình Quân, during which, both sides briefed each other about the respective socio-economic performance and discussed measures to boost relations between the two parties and countries.
The Bangladeshi politician will meet with leaders of the Điện Biên provincial Party Committee and the HCM City Party Committee, and visit economic and cultural establishments. — VNS
