HÀ NỘI — Thousands of special deals will be on offer at the Vietnam Travel Fest 2019 which will take place in Hà Nội from March 15 to 17.

About 150 enterprises including hotels, resorts, airlines and tourism companies will participate in the event. Visitors can find accommodation packages in luxury resorts and five-star hotels with reasonable prices, cheap flights and tours to several destinations in Việt Nam and abroad.      

Vietnam Airlines will offer prices from VNĐ299,000 (US$13) for domestic one-way ticket and from $9 for return tickets from Hà Nội to destinations abroad, while budget airline Jetstar will offer 10,000 tickets priced from VNĐ49,000 ($2).

Hoàng Việt Travel will introduce a tour to Thailand from only VNĐ4 million ($172) and Vietfoot Travel will discount VNĐ5 million ($215) for any guest booking a tour to Europe.

The Salinda Resort in Phú Quốc Island will offer 50 per cent discount for accommodation (from VNĐ3 million or $129) in its five-star property. The Emeralda Resort in Ninh Bình Province’s Vân Long Nature Reserve will release 400 vouchers with the price of VNĐ1.69 million a night including breakfast.

Various other promotions are on offer from big players in the industry, such as FLC Resort, paradise Cruises, Wyndham Hạ Long, Silk Path Sapa, Novotel Phú Quốc, La Veranda Phú Quốc Resort and Banyan Tree Lăng Cô.

In addition, the 300 first visitors to the event who pay through the app QuickPay by TPBank will receive 10 per cent off their bill.       

The event’s agenda will also include talks by Vietnamese travel bloggers Hoàng Lê Giang, Nguyễn Hoàng Bảo, Lý Thành Cơ, Vinh Gấu and Tùng Nếm, who will share their personal experiences from tips to take nice photos to how to save money when travelling.

Travel Fest, organised by magazine Travellive and Aeon Mall, will take place at the square in front of the Aeon Mall Long Biên in Long Biên District. The event is expected to greet about 40,000 visitors. — VNS
